An Educator Committed to Shaping Future Leaders
With over three decades of experience in higher education, Dr. Navin Mukesh Punjabi serves as the Principal of K. P. B. Hinduja College of Commerce (Autonomous), Mumbai. Previously, he served as the Vice Principal of H. R. College of Commerce & Economics (2020–2023), where he was also an Associate Professor and Director of the Placement Cell. He has taught diverse subjects including Commerce, Wealth Management, Corporate Governance, Principles of Investment, and Strategic Management. A recognized research guide of the University of Mumbai and HSNC University, he mentors doctoral scholars while contributing extensively to research, academic governance, institutional development, and student success. He is also a member of the Academic Council and Board of Governance of HSNC University and has served as Chairman (Academics) of the Indo-American Society.

Dr. Punjabi’s academic contributions extend far beyond the classroom. He has delivered lectures and masterclasses at globally renowned institutions including Kennesaw State University, NYU Stern School of Business, Columbia Business School, London Business School, UC Berkeley, Seton Hall University, Cornell University, Rutgers University, Adelphi University, and Dickinson College, among others. Before entering academia, he built professional experience in Wealth Management with Kotak Securities and DBS Bank, bringing valuable industry insights into education. An accomplished author, he has written books on Wealth Management, Media Planning & Management, and related subjects, alongside numerous research papers presented at national and international conferences. He also contributes to industry through the Indian Merchants’ Chamber and the Investor Education and Welfare Society (IEWA), strengthening the connection between academia, business, and society.
